Polyamory is a different approach to romantic
and sexual relationships.

Where the more common monogomy approach limits each person to a single partner
at a time, a polyamorous relationship acknowledges that it is possible to be attracted to, and even love, others while still being in a committed relationship.

Polyamory is not cheating.
Polyamory is not swinging, although there are many similarities.

What polyamory is is an ethical and mature set of philosophies and relationship guidelines meant to help people accept the aspect of themselves and their partners that they would otherwise be asked to surpress in order to maintain the relationship.

The purpose of this site is to guide and inform people that may be interested in learning more about polyamory, either because they want to be polyamorous themselves, or because they have friends or lovedones who are and want to gain a better understanding.
